One of our most valuable capabilities iDEAL Technology has is providing our customers with cost-effective solutions to their manufacturing obstacles. Clients feel comfortable coming to us with an end-goal in mind but lack the resources or knowledge to achieve that goal. For example, you may need to move your product from one end of your facility to the other all while keeping it level and stable. You may not know where to begin, but we can help you with that every step of the way all while ensuring your product is handled in a safe and efficient manner. iDEAL Technology excels in bringing together the latest technological advancements and industry experience to achieve the manufacturing strategies of our customers.
Steps to a Custom Engineered Solution
- Identification of the Problem, Goals, and Objectives
This is one of the most crucial components of the entire process. Here we will discuss your project either over the phone, in-person at the client’s facility or ours, or through a webcast service and ask questions and listen to our clients in order to pin-point their needs and develop a clear understanding of the request and the end-goal in mind. - Concept Development
Once discussions have been conducted, we will use all of the information gathered to develop some concepts and what the customer’s solution may look like. This step might include a variety of concepts or even physical prototypes in order to allow the customer to select the best concept to move forward with. - Project Proposal & Design Approval
Our staff will develop a proposal for the client based on all of the information gathered and concept approved. The proposal will be entirely customized to the client’s situation. This will provide the client with a detailed explanation of the solution that will be provided by Ideal Technology. - Design & Manufacturing
Once the project has been approved by the client, our engineers are given the go-ahead to begin the development process. Then, when drawings and models are designed, we interface with the client to ensure their approval. Once the design is approved, we move continue to move forward and complete the designs. The designs then move to the shop floor and manufacturing, assembly, and relevant testing begin in order to ensure that the final product meets or exceeds the initial request for product performance.
Custom Carts, Trolleys, and Work Holding Equipment
Automotive, Aerospace, and Consumer Goods industries create vast quantities of custom components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies that require custom carts and work holding equipment in order to ensure that they move around your shop floor safely and easily. Often, these assemblies are too large to be held with a hoist and too large to be transported by hand. This is where the need for custom-designed solutions comes into play. iDEAL Technology can take a look at your requirements and designs to help design the perfect solution for you, keeping your parts from getting damaged during movement.
Whether using a robot, ergo hoist, or manual crane, we can work with your team to engineer an effective and safe solution for your handling requirements. We utilize all of the latest and greatest non-marring, tough, and durable materials, metal fabrication techniques, in-house CNC machines and weldment manufacturing capabilities to ensure that the carts & handling equipment meet and exceed your expectations.
iDEAL Technology has over 100 years of combined years of Design, Build, and Management experience. Our team can work with you to design the work handling equipment you need to keep your production pipeline running reliably. Our equipment is an example of the best Quality, Efficiency, Durability, and Reliability offered in the industry. Visit iDEAL Technology for the last fabrication source you will ever need.
