CAD Designers
We are looking to fill design positions with self-motivated, punctual, and courteous individuals to work in our CAD department. Experience with CAD software such as CATIA and Solidworks are preferred. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, creating workzones for the CNC department, preparing data for quotation, generating 3D models and drawings for components or assemblies. Designing fixtures and assembly equipment as well as determining the best materials, methods, and components for required applications are preferred qualities in the right candidate. We require basic knowledge of GD&T, ability to work well with others, possess excellent time management skills, and be able to multitask.
Fixture Builders
We are looking for experienced fixture builders capable of assembling and machining details from blueprints supplied by our CAD department. You will need working knowledge of machine equipment including but not limited to Bridgeports, mills, lathes, grinders, etc. You must be able to work independently and own your own tools. The right candidate must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed when workload is high.
CNC Operators
iDEAL is looking for additional CNC Operators with and without experience running Fadal, Vision-Wide, Tarus, and CMS mills. Experienced candidates should be capable of setting up programs and using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify work. You should know how to safely use a forklift and overhead crane. You will be responsible for helping other department operations as necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates who possess no experience. The right candidate must also be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when workload is high.
Manufacturing Sales Representatives
iDEAL is seeking a business professional who has primary automotive and aerospace relationships to develop new business opportunities for our manufacturing business. The Account Executive will build relationships with existing and new customers by aggressively pursuing new business opportunities for tooling, fixtures, CNC machined details, rapid prototyping, and assembly equipment in the automotive and aerospace industries. The goal for this position is to add new clients to our current customer base and explore new market opportunities. The right candidate should have existing relationships with clients and companies which have needs that match our capabilities. Requirements include a minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing sales, flexibility to travel as needed, strong presentation and writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft’s suite of programs. This position offers a base salary along with variable compensation (commission).
Rapid Prototype Technician
This position requires programming and running builds to make parts for customers and in-house use. We have 3D Systems SLA machines and Stratasys FDM machines that you will be responsible for. Responsibilities include ensuring the equipment is well-maintained, setting up and running builds, machine changeover, assisting sales staff in estimating, and ensuring that job timelines are met. Experience running 3D Systems & Stratasys equipment is preferred but not required. On-site training is available. You must be computer proficient, able to work independently, and reliable. This position offers overtime when workload warrants and weekends are required when we are busy. The technician will be given the flexibility to work whatever hours are needed on the weekends that suits their schedule as long as the work gets completed.
